Finally, a day off!!
We woke up just after 8am, to NO alarm & the peaceful sounds of water lapping at the wooden jetty & bird song. The light was just leaking in between the cracks in the door & filtering through the thick white mosquito net to lightly illuminate us.
It was so peaceful. We lied there for a few minutes, not talking or moving, just being, with small smiles of satisfaction.
It's a big day of beers, light snacks by the pool & fun with friends, followed by a gorgeous sunset & after dark shenanigans.

Once we decided to get up it was time for another amazing hot shower in the jungle & breakfast. A small storm shower passed by overhead & cooled everything down. We've borrowed a multi adapter charger off someone to charge the laptop. Sadly, the internet is very uncooperative. Not that you need internet to enjoy yourself on a jungle island lodge.
