It all started with a dream.....
At the start of 2015, after the devastating passing of our beloved cat, we decided we wanted more from the daily reality of our lives in Brisbane, Australia.
With no children and no pets we were now at a stage in our lives devoid of responsibility for another life, knowing we may never be in this unique situation again we decided to relinquish all other responsibilities, We decided to make our dream of long term travel a goal, which in 2018 became a realistic reality.
The reality is no jobs, no debt and no societal expectation, for 365+ days of travel through 27 countries, immersing ourselves in the different cultures, exploring what life has to offer & finding happiness, peace & love in all corners of the planet.
This blog is essentially a personal, digital diary, reflecting on the hard work, dedication & planning it has taken us to get here as well as a daily log of current events that happen as we travel through each country. It will be a way for us to share our experiences with family, friends, our kids (yet to be made) and whoever else would like to read.
